Been working too much, and trying to catch up on chores like laundry and a storm damaged road ever since. And reservations. Both ends within half an hour of Duster's.

Finally been off a few days, but that's also the rub. I am only scheduled for 24 hours, plus another 8 I picked up, this schedule. Now that everybody is off injured reserve, it looks like it may be that way. So I've been crunching numbers.

The way I see it, I either work and pay taxes, or make twice as much not working and not pay taxes. Or only make 4/3 as much for not working if you figure pre-tax retirement from my earnings. Plus my license expires the end of Oct, and SS would kick in 2 weeks earlier. So, from my point of view, when my boss sez "Full time or no guarantee", I'm thinking "Guarantee or no me". I'd do it next Sat, but I promised the Kat I'd work the 14th. Next day is the 20th.
Now that's dumb, if i'm leaving on the 22nd :>)

So my status in S may be undecided pending negotiations but it could well be my retirement party :>)
and last blow-out for a loooooooooooooong time, cuz it is 3 years too soon.
