Peru is likely to nationalize there copper mines if the lead guy gets elected...he is the son of a hard line dictator that caused Peru all of their problems in the 80's..

I agree with you on copper's prospects, but it seems the one leading in the polls in Peru is Ollanta Humala which like Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is an army commander that tried to do a "coup de etat" & failed.

He is a good friend of Chavez & Castro, which are financing his campaing in Peru. That will consolidate their position in South America which is turning more to the left with Evo Morales in Bolivia,Ignacio Lula in Brazil,Néstor Kirchner in Argentina & Michelle Bachelet in Chile

TGB made a 52 wks. H today as it is trading above its Feb.6 H of 2.07 It has had 4Qs of better revenues & its 1stQ (Dec)for the 2006 fiscal Yr. closed on the black column.Its next resistance is now the Feb.2004 H at 2.20 Its PE is around 13

EZM whith mines in Portugal also has had 4Qs of better revenues & earnings. It has a PE around 10
