Re: "There are many ways that Saddam could have been removed. I don't need to outline them."

And of course, with this nebulous entry, you didn't: "There are many ways to remove a wart. You can cut it off, medicate it off, or freeze it off. Which way is the best?"

Lovely discussion of warts, but somehow meaningless when discussion Saddam's removal. Hey, you said you needn't tell, and you didn't.

Re: ""and you pretend the pre-existing arguments and reasons for sane people wanting to do so were created by Bush."

I made no such pretense."

You and your's here have been doing so for a long time, IMHO. I suppose I could be wrong here, but considering that makes me LOL.

Re: "There is a difference between a policy of regime change and a policy of war. They do not have to be one in the same."

Why don't you explain the difference so that we can understand what you would have done to ensure that Saddam was gone, and for that matter, that something better replaced him. Oh, that's right, you don't need to.

Re: "Remember the WMD? The incessant connection to 9-11? All were lies and pretense."

That goes right back to the "I made no such pretense" comment above. If you hadn't, you have now. That Lefty anti-war article recently posted here by one of yours STILL agrees that the Bush & WMD crap you've constantly spread is revisionist history. THAT writer realizes that yours is a losing argument, and I think you really ought to wise up and catch up.

Re: "I don't think any sane person thought that war was the only way to accomplish that goal nor was it an effective way to accomplish that goal."

I'm still wondering about the other ways you have in mind. Perhaps leaving him in power is the result of your way. Unacceptable, after 911, IMHO, given Saddam's well known bad intent AND actions AND words in SUPPORT of Islamic terrorism.

See, it is difficult to change reality to fit your beloved premise of Bush having been the liar even though the gist of what he thought and said was said and thought before him by even the likes of Bill Clinton.
