Pewter, I agree with you about limiting the expenditures by the government, but not every facet of it. A Constitutional Amendment, might be too stringent to account for sudden problems that will need a lot of money to take care of, and I am not talking about hurricane relief, or anything else that individuals can take care of themselves. But it there is need to go to war, we need to have the leeway to field the troops with the best training, weapons, and armor, that money can buy.

I don't much like Frenchmen, but that one said it straight, and true.
