that's not the point. The UN is not a body of like minded nations. The UN was a body built to fight for human rights and create the mechanism to stand up to tyranny and the evils of dictatorship. Instead, we are putting all of those goals at risk, when we allow countries like Russia to spy on us and give info to the madmen like Saddam.

MM, sometimes I just don't understand where your head's at. Its not just the Russians spying on us; we spy on them too. Nations of a particular sort spy on each other......that's the way they have chosen to play the game. And we are one of them. That's what you can't seem to accept. You have been brainwashed. We are not the good guys. We are just better than some of the bad guys.

If you can't see why the UN is worthless based on this alone, then you are hopeless too.

I understand the UN is dysfunctional but then it reflects a dysfunctional world........and its all we have.
