ImageWare Gets $900,000 Deal From Raytheon for Identification System

SAN DIEGO (AP) - ImageWare Systems Inc., a maker of identification systems, on Tuesday said it received a $900,000 deal from defense contractor Raytheon Co. for its Biometric Engine border management system.

The system provides face, fingerprint and eye identification functions and is designed to process users at land, air and sea border crossings, Imageware said.

Shares of ImageWare rose 18 cents, or 9.5 percent, to $2.07 on the American Stock Exchange. The stock has traded between $1.35 and $3.89 over the past 52 weeks.
