I make it a point to maintain a casual telephone relationship with the CEO, COO, or General/Plant Manager of any company I put my money in. And, I also attempt to make constructive engineering and/or experience-based suggestions in those areas where I have a working knowledge of the subject at hand.
Having 35+/- years of practical design/build/retrofit experience including multiple brewery projects for Coors, Anheuser and Miller, and machine design projects for manufacturers like Cherry-Burrell and TetraRex, I have shared a few ideas with Bob regarding some new pasteurizers, high-speed fillers, and material handling systems they are going to need.
On the business end, I believe my efforts to persuade RSHN to go to Pinksheets RTQs & L-II for the "..huddled masses.." are reasonably selfevident. My cousin Martha in Chicago, who has her Masters Degree in Chinese, was also recruited and has helped RSHN locate an ethnic Chinese person in the area to assist with their products 'export label' review. ( We don't want to end up on a cue card for Jay Leno some evening )
When RSHN hired ChristieComm, I subsequently pickd up the honker and chatted with Gillian Christie for a few minutes to see how the Expo in L.A. was going and what the basic game plan was. It's called "..proactive investing..", and it's what I do while donpat, rrufff, rrm_bcnu and others delve into the technical and financial matters on the stocks we add to the "..Mafia Stock Mobsta's Social Club.." 'reco' list..: Subject 55842
If I were the CEO or other responsible party "..at a small and growing lean-staffed company.." dealing with email, I would answer the one's that also had called in first - before grinding through the pile that must churn in everyday. It's all a matter of priorities and available time.
I ordered my Rush Cola from the website Store and it arrived at my doorstep in two days; the system seems to work.
How many MM shares have you collected so far..???
John :-)
