That's because the rest of the USA is way behind Central Illinois. We started using it in 1972, had our own plants and met our needs. Now the rest of the nation has figured out that 10% alcohol is better than using something that causes cancer and more plants are now being built.

Couple of things about the 90%/10% blend. No more frozen fuel lines in the winter or water collecting in the gas tank. Ups mileage 2%. 60% less unburned gas coming out of the tailpipe.
