DVD Forum Says DIVX Will Confuse Consumers

The DVD Forum, an association the brings together the ten companies at the heart of the DVD system, says it fears the recently announced DIVX system will confuse consumers. It worries that customers will purchase discs for the new system, unaware that a conventional DVD player will not be able to play the discs.
