Give me a break. Our civil war happened a nearly 150 years ago and it wasnt until Brown v Bd of ed and the 1960s civil rights act that what it was fought about was finally settled. And even today, we still see the legacy of the civil war and its aftermath in some of the less forunate faces we see out there. If we have to wait 150 years for iraq to become democratic, we certainly wont be able to claim credit.
