Sure, anyone with a bias against him, or even neutral knows that. But he seems to have a grip on those even mildly predisposed towards him that they go to inordinate lengths to convince themselves he is a straight shooter. I guess the reality is just too horrible to contemplate.

Look at Tim. Here he is, doing the equivalent of arguing about the meaning of the word 'is'...
