On a similar note,

Q3 OP was $209M on CPU rev's of $969M = 21.6%
Q4 OP was $289M on CPU rev's of $1307M = 22.1%

What Mosemann misses, for whatever reason (cocaine or stardust) is that OP% actually increased in Q4 despite the additional combined R&D and Mktg costs of $120M.

Let's assume $1.45B in Q1 rev's as suggested by Mosemann (he must've had a bad dream to come up with this 'cause he's probably close)

Q1 OP @ 22%*1450M = $320M
add Mktg Q1 reduction of $40M
minus Fab 36 dep'n of $40M
Revised Q1 OP = $320M

Deduct Interst Costs of $25M and Bonus of $55M

Q1 Net profit = $240M or approx. $0.50 per share! (= Mosemann's 2006 estimate) ;-)
