The Rose and the Rosebud--where my folks go to see films... rosetheatre.com Very charming, a woman about my age often comes out and gives you a little intro before the film. Years ago, I had a handful of favorites. The Harvard Exit and the Neptune theatres (near the University of Washington) the Guild 45th, a mile to the west. But the time of day, weather and company paired with the best movies is what makes indelible memories. I remember going up to The Guild to see Amadaus...with friends... on a day in late October...with snow pellet showers... Now I steal 20 minutes here and there to watch segments of Netflix delivered DVD's in my garage while the kids are occupied with something. Things change!
