BANGKOK, Thailand & ATASCADERO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2006--AnyWhere MD (OTC:ANWM - News) is pleased to provide an update on the progress of its Asian expansion. The company now has an office in Bangkok and is working closely with Prestige Procurement and Networking Services (Prestige Asia). Represented by Prestige Asia and its affiliates, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with a medical equipment supply company today subject to the testing of the products. The first order for units to be supplied to Asia has been made.
The MOU enables ANWM to officially present and get their products tested as required by the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand. Steve Hixson, the CEO of ANWM, shares his insights: "The company is looking forward to meeting the necessary requirements for approval and is eager to establish itself in this vast marketplace which is Asia. Thailand, the regional center of Medical Tourism, will reassure the quality control of ANWM products and prove them standardized to the rest of Asia."
ANWM's aim in Asia is to provide doctors and health services providers with tools that enable them to maintain the patients' medical records on portable devices and reconcile the records from different departments, clinics or hospitals. "It has become more necessary than ever for those patients who travel or are on a medical tourism program rely heavily on computerized and instant medical records to receive safe and efficient medical treatments wherever they are in the world. Where the market is available we would like to introduce ANWM and take this opportunity to ensure this market share is ours," said Sutida Suwunnavid, Prestige Asia president.
ANWM has also signed an agreement with Buzz Technologies Inc., www.12buzz.com (OTC:ATCT - News), to build a multilingual corporate Web site and to develop further research and development conducted by ANWM in relation to other medical services and technology to a total of $250,000 USD (Subject to Milestones). The funds will be provided by Asian Asset LLC, www.asianasset.net. Pol.Lt.Col. Panitan Sanipet, CFO of ATCT, said the company would be concentrating much of its energy into Development of Asian Language Interfaces for current technology.
