No one would stop you from going to the Mayo Clinic with check book in hand. You would probably be one critical illness away from bankruptcy.

Sure, opt out of OHIP and get a tax credit, but if you did, would it be acceptable to you that you would not receive any air.. road ambulance service,any emergency service in a hospital. Why should tax payers maintain and pay for these services for you, so that you might pay a small portion ....if... you needed them?

As to CPP, if you feel that strongly about it, do not apply and you will not receive...follow Mr Diefenbaker and a few other wealthy men.
