( sorry CR ,this is off topic ) The cost of a home in Marin has hit the stratosphere. No Cal does have a few deals left but they are disappearing fast. Relative to the rest of the ocuntry the home prices are high. Sonoma and Lake Co is now accelerating. we bought a place on Clear Lake in OCt and it's jumped 50k in value since then.......still bargains tho relative to the rest of the state and money is starting to pour into the area. Best Bass fishing in the country. Not many jobs but a great rec area and beautiful........there are hot springs in lake and you can go out, jumpin and swim around in it. The lake is murky but it's the biggest in Ca ( Tahoe is partly in Nevada) The wines there are absolutely wonderful.
