1. Take the safe route and buy 150 shares or so

2. Take a riskier approach
I would look at February options on Cymer say
FEB 40 (.CQGBH ) which is currently going for 5 3/4
Buy eight contracts. In Feb exercise x contracts and sell the other y contracts to cover the exercise cost. If Cymer goes to the $55 level or so you could end up with three or four hundred shares.

3. Do a hybrid. Buy 75 or 100 shares of Cymer and put the remaining money into options.

Of course you must make your own choices (and while I think CYMI is headed up, it may not go up) but these are a few of my suggestions.
