well I have been reading this thread for a year now and Don has been all over this mac vs. PC share thing.... maybe a year or two ago you could have said Mac was dying but at this point, with AMD gaining, Dell languishing and Vista delayed it is really wintel that is dying, there isn't any argument against Mac really anymore.

Obviously designs DO matter in terms of both quality of product and external design. Thats one reason the incredibly ugly compaq PC line died and dell took share.

Dell is now relegated to competing with Chinese Lenovo. Good luck.
