I have very little wisdom, Peter. When I offered advice I felt it wouldn't cause any harm.

I've buried both of my parents. I had a friend who had a computerized billing service for doctors. She fought medicare and supplemental insurance providers for seniors for free. She and I talked about it because she helped my father when he was sick. The hospital and his providers kept screwing up the bills to the point services weren't being covered.

This was 15-16 years ago.

A lot of illnesses linger, like congestive heart disease. You still have a good human being around with a fine mind but their bodies are failing them. With the reverse you hope for a final solution because of the hell the old person goes through.

It is hell to watch grandma, who has a masters degree and who was a loving, giving, happy human being, walking around a room talking to door knobs and empty chairs.

You've all seen it.
