Preparing for my class tomorrow on money and banking - getting uptodate figures: research.stlouisfed.org I can't see any hyper-inflationary fiat money printing going on here... Oil price is threatening a new high per the chart. Above $75 at least. I just transferred more to the account where I am beginning to buy gold - just broke out of the range and heading up at least $100 in the short-term IMO.... I used to be hopeful about Iran until Ahmednijad (spelling?) was elected. Time argue that the nuclear issue is just populism to raise his support among the sections of the population worried about a religious clampdown. Could be... but Saddam also thought he could play the US along and lost the game. The oil ETF OSU starts trading on Monday I believe.
