While the Chartered JV looks like it's coming on line 6 months early - quite a diffence, eh?

I try to quantify CHRT 90nm contribution from AMD relative to other customers and compare to its peers (UMC and TSMC); could not find data except revenue from our 90nm alone exceeded 100 million in the fourth quarter of 2005; UMC topline is 2.1 x times CHRT.
Perhaps you can enlighten me but on relative comparison Charter Semi revenue contribution from AMD for less or equal 90 nm was on the order of 30 to 50 million in Q4 2005 assuming CHRT has other 90nm revenue from other customers.
There is a possibility that CHRT has NO other 90nm customers and the the majority indeed comes from AMD and that would be $100 million in Q4 2005.

Chartered has had 65nm production for about half a year now (but that's bulk, i.e. non SOI), I think even from the very same fab 7.

UMC approx 140

media.corporate-ir.net

and TSMC probably 2x UMC

AMD has an equity stake in FAB 7 and shares management control,
Management control?
What's the equity stake: AMD's automation?

it's not just a foundry agreement, which might explain why it seems like it's going a lot better than those other deals.

How does AMD transfer 65 nm technology to CHRT?
Wouldn't one think before bothering about transfering technology that AMD has a bullet proof / satiesfactory yielding 65 nm process or is CHRT transfering technnology to AMD?
