We're supposed to have a dandy storm coming thru tonight. They're saying 2" of rain here in Reno and 2-3 feet of snow above 7000' altitude in the Sierra mountains. It's the one that flooded (drowned) the HI islands. Predictions/warnings are for floods and maybe mudslides. The Truckee River runs thru downtown Reno.
