One month since the announcement that Struthers was "near the end of serious and substantive negotiations". So now we must be one month nearer to the end of negotiations, right? Of course, that means we're one month closer to the Second Coming also. Not sure which will come first. Maybe we should get the John 3:16 guy to hang outside Rauol's office.
Heard through the grapevine that Struthers has printed another 98,000,000 shares of stock (haven't seen it on Edgar). This more or less follows their business plan. Presumably, they will use the shares in exchange for the cash that the funding partner is providing for the buildout, as well as pay off the licensees that were promised over two years ago that they would be receiving stock for their licenses.
Haven't talked to anyone who seems to know what the holdup is. If I had to guess, I would assume that the funding company probably wants to see an operational prototype (vs. two computers and a walkie-talkie in the same room). Show me it works, and I'll show you the money.
Raoul's take on the shareholders angst: "I didn't tell anyone to buy the stock". At-a-boy Raoul! At least we know where the shareholders stand on your priority list. He'll get my vote for CEO of the year (I'll cast it any day now).
Looking forward to another exciting week, when we'll be one week closer to the end of serious and substantive negotiations. I think I'll sell 50 shares and use the $3.50 that's left after commission to go to the video store and rent "Eating Raoul".
