American Technology Corporation Ships New Commercial LRAD(TM) Order; Initial
Order Shipped to New Authorized Commercial Maritime Reseller, Telemar
SAN DIEGO--April 4, 2006--
American Technology Corporation (ATC) (NASDAQ:ATCO), a leading innovator
of directed sound products and solutions, today announced that it has
shipped an initial order totaling approximately $240,000 to Telemar USA, LLC
(Telemar), a division of Compagnia Generale Telemar of Rome, Italy. Telemar
is a worldwide maritime reseller of ATC's directed sound products.
In partnership with its suppliers, Telemar provides a wide range of
services to the shipping industry with focus on electronic navigational and
communications systems. Through its international group of companies in the
U.S., Italy, the U.K., Finland and Sweden, Telemar currently services more
than 2,000 ships operating worldwide.
