Where life will become difficult will be any place that an American is trying to persuade somebody in another country to take dollars in exchange for goods and services Replace dollars with GOLD. Regli says 1 gold miner in 1930's did well. That may be true. Perhaps unlike today they were following the right hedging strategies - today I read some will not profit from a sharp rise in gold - they are not following the right strategies. It seems to me going and buying a gold coin at the coin shop is just too easy - and society rewards people that do things that are hard - not easy. The doctor doing my colonoscopy - the dentist smelling my breath - the hooker laying down for me - these are hard things for these people I bet - so they get BIG MONEY - but Regli wants me to believe if I stroll over to the coin shop singing zippity do dah - in a short time I will have the world in my clutches with my hordes of shiny metal - I won't have to do ANYTHING harder than that to be rewarded by society - I wont have to go shoot brown people for oil and take bullets, I wont have dig in sewage like the lower caste in india, I wont have to work the fields breaking my back in the sun dripping with sweat, all I will have to do is stroll over to the coin shop and buy some shiny metal - then in the future shit diggers and orange pickers will give me all thier hard work and effort if I give them a shiny piece of metal - that is so silly to me I don't even know where to begin. The rich russians were fat and lazy - during bolshevik times - and when thier food ran out in the cities - there was lots of gold around them - and they didn't want to bust thier baltz working those fields and thier daughters looked up at daddy and said daddy I dont want to have sex with those nasty farmers for oranges - so they said HEY - lets do what is EASY and take this gold and give to the farmers. The farmers didn't like that idea so much - cause they couldn't eat the gold and it didn't get them into the panties of the rich russian girls - so they said FUGG YOU and your gold. The rich russians said well we tried to do it peaceable - so they went and did the next easiest thing - started picking up guns and shooting at the farmers - going out and working like slaves in the field growing thier own damn food - they couldn't do that - too hard.
