Ah, here we go again with your favorite trope. If someone doesn't agree with your logic, you conclude they are "nutters."
It's always good to be among the "reasonable, thoughtful people," who are, of course, the moderates. ;-(
I'm not stuck on the words, whether conclude/suspect/whatever. Delay is leaving the House, among other reasons, because his legal problems just got worse. Now if one calls that a conclusion, a suspicion, a whatever, it matters not.
I used the qualifier, "among other reasons" simply to note that he had a difficult race ahead of him, that his leaving the House will help his colleagues get reelected, etc. But none of that would have mattered a whits worth if his legal vulnerabilities had not increased. |
