Once again we simply disagree. I think Josh Marshall is absolutely right when he argues that, most likely, after they learned about the contents of Rudy's plea, whenever that might have been, Delay's lawyers said something on the order of, you need to get your priorities straight now. Focus, focus, focus.
I think there is little doubt he has been leaning in that direction for some time, given everything we've been reading about his ties to Abramoff, to Scanlon, to Buckham, and now to Rudy. And I suspect there will be more.
