dennis : roth ira, and link on equitty linked notes. roth ira: your AGI must be less then 95k in 1998. you can use your regular money to pay for taxes. i.e. u don't have to pay from ira money. tax can be paid over a period of several years ... not all at once. best stragegy is to wait for a down turn in the market and switch. i am all set to do my roth ira. how long will u live before u leave.... it an important factor. how much return would you get on the money you paid for early tax? will that lost oppurtunity pay for the taxes later? ===================================== equity link is getting market participation and Zero down side. safe place to put big moeny that moves with the marktet and zero down side. state.net
