What's going to happen when Vista comes out? I still don't see people rushing to buy Macs to run Windows.

Well, I think some will rush to buy macs , at least I am doing it. Thats one.

The office PC is a laggard now, that is msft's stronghold, Vista was a wildcard but now, Vista is a non event in my eyes. It has been dumbed down so much the net effect for the consumer with Vista is now about the same as another service pack. Plus Dell has lost its luster big time. They haven't made a good box at Dell in years.

The growth area is media for consumers, video on Demand and Apple has a real edge there.

What I find odd about today's action is , didn't anybody anticipate this dual boot option, why the surprise? Why ELSE would apple have moved to intel? (sure there are a few other reasons but this dual boot option was rather obvious, imho)
