Thanks, I needed a laugh...

I used to help a friend with her taxes and she was adamant that she deserved to deduct the cost of renovating her kitchen since she worked from home. I repeated the rules on a home office over and over to her, but she just kept trying to justify why it should be deductible. Finally I said, "Listen I didn't make these rules, I just know what they are so you are arguing with the wrong person here."
