Nonsense. It has long been acknowledged, here and elswhere, that there were some specialized Windows apps for which there is no Mac equivalent.

FYI, when I first made the jump to the Mac, one of my first software purchases was Virtual PC. I used it in the beginning because there wasn't a good Office suite for the Mac OS yet, and there were sitll some web sites that Safari didn't work with.

Over the years, I have used it less and less. Lately, the only thing I've used it for is online poker.
