Virtual PC is slow, to be sure, but its perfectly fine for some purposes.

For some, sure, but it totally sucks for others.

IOW, it's as slow as a sleepy well fed dog and not very compatible.

I gave up a while back and bought some PCs.

But if Dual boot works or the Virtualization scheme is only 90-95% slower and is 100% compatible, one word:
