Oh?? I seem to recall when Clinton sent US forces to Kuwait in preparation for JUST THAT PURPOSE (remember Operation: Desert Fox), but settled for a measly punative series of air strikes in response to Saddam's refusal to cooperate with the UNSCOM inspection teams.
And I seem to recall that Clinton used US forces in Somalia to hunt down Farah Aideed, BUT DENIED TO THE COMMANDER ON THE GROUND THE ARMORED QUICK REACTION FORCE THAT HE DESIRED.
19 fine American soldiers died as a result of that arrogant incompetence.
Furthermore, I'm following the Bush/Libby issue closely.. All that Libby testified to is that Cheney told him that Bush had approved the leak. But that holds out the possibility that Cheney lied to him and released it on his own authority.
In that case, it will be Cheney falling on his sword and resigning. Even if Bush did approve it, that's the worst scenario that I see.
But your Boy, Mr. Clinton, lied to the entire nation on national TV about whether he had a young intern give him a hummer in the Oral.. err... Oval Office of the White House.
And what did he do when he left office? He got himself a comfy (and profitable) gig being an financial advisor for the Kingdom of Dubai. Think about it.. A president of the United States running money for a country that his fellow democrats have asserted was one of the few countries to formally recognize the Taliban government.
And what's even more amusing, is that Hillary KNEW ABOUT IT (she signs the tax returns too). But she decides to do some political damage control and launch a pre-emptive strike to cover up the corruption of her husband.
All those jets and aircraft carriers and super technology won't even get off the ground without oil.
First off, almost all US Aircraft Carriers are nuclear-powered Nimitz Class. Secondly, Jet Aircraft use relatively little fuel compared to the commercial airline industry.
Thirdly, I'm not worried about the US consumption of fossil fuels. We have the technology, currently being ramped up via Alcohol, Hybrids, and Hydrogen Fuel cell technology to get us through any oil embargo.
Moreover, the US currently only imports 10% of its oil needs from the Mid-East. So unless you good buddy, Hugo Chavez, decides to launch his own oil embargo, the strategic oil reserves would make up any shortfall (and we're not the only nation that has them).
Finally, I can understand your admiration for the Islamo-Fascists and their propensity for killing innocent civilians in order to collect their virgin prizes in Heaven.
After all, you commit Intellectual Suicide every time you foolishly decide to make a public post.
So it's natural that you would applaud their tactics and alleged "incorruptibility".
