think of his campaign finance bill, his lousy temper, his age, and now his bid for the Hispanic vote by giving blanket amnesty and calling it something else.

he may gain a lot of votes, but right now he's lost a lot

I think you also have to remember with this issue, people will say one thing and do another in the voting booth. May make polls misleading.
