Cool your jets Mr. K. I looked up the North American Steel Index, Feb 04 to Jan 06. The prices for ALL the following items were higher (sometimes substantially higher) in 2006 than 2004. For example, the price of Structural Sections and Beams was 102 per unit in 2004 and 149 per unit 2006. Hot Rolled Coil was 116 per unit in 2004 and 158 per unit in 2006. The facts speak for themselves.
