i did qualify the statement saying "for now"

meaning, it is my guess that the admin actually does have a timetable for the new government to form, but has to be very careful in the appearance of 'dictating' when and how that government coalesces (if ever)

what has it been, 4 months?

i think more important right now that giving ultimatums wrt to timing is to work with the parties involved and determine what the real holdup is about and what can be done to facilitate the process (which i think is being done)

however, i do agree, that the recalcitrance or ineptitude or WHATEVER it is that holds back the formation of the government needs to end, and sooner rather than later...

AND, my sense is that kerry's remarks were just his typical grandstanding method of trying to 'get out in front' of the admin wrt to what it is already doing
