Well, technically you have a point. But your point only works if you ignore all existing background.

Be that as it may, to me it's not the important aspect to this new revelation. The operative phrase is "portions" of the estimate. The portions that were left out were the US State and Energy departments contrary conclusions to the pro-we-need-to-go-to-war spin the Administration was putting out.

Don't you think a fair presidential administration would weigh the balance of pros and cons before going to war?

Don't you think, in the least, that's what Americans would and should expect?

Don't you think, in the least, that this is what the newly-minted Gold Star Mothers wish would have hapened?

I'm afraid when you discount the fact that Bush and Cheney cherry-picked intelligence in order to justify war on Iraq, you discount the feelings of the famlies who've suffered death and injury as a consequence of the Administration not using a pro/con analysis in determining whether to move into a state of war.
