One of the MANY flaws in Bush's "leadership" is he is so in the pocket of special interests... but anyway it is actually the REPUBLICANS who are on the side of the voters on this immigration issue. Only the non-bought ones, though, which of course does not include Bush.

The tech lobby is probably grimacing at supporting the republicans now.

I see the senate left for recess without agreeing on this. And the senate are the easy ones on immigration. The house are the ones who won't go for it, due to their perpetual elections.
