What we needed to do was avoid Hamas taking over in the first place. And avoid Iranian extremists taking over. and avoid Iraqi El Sadr types coming into power. All those were huge blunders.

We also should have wiped out Osama and Al Qaida when we had the chance while we had them trapped at Tora Bora, and all our troops there. Plenty of huge blunders in the so-called "war on terror" which have made things worse.

I can tell you one thing, if Kerry were president, none of the above would have happened.
