Hello Pezz, Sunday Morning Report:
I was minding my business trudging through the HK airport and noted two items:

(1) The HKD:USD exchange rate, instead of the usual 7.75-7.78 available on the street, and the previous 7.70 available at airport money changer, is now going at 7.10 !?

(2) And I saw this on the Internet Message 22339462 , something about redoubling failing efforts, based on unshaking faith

So I looked in my wallet, saw excess cash, and exchanged them for two Canadian Maple Leaf 1 ounce coins, to give to the Coconut when I return from trip to Beijing.

I bought Canadian Maple because I believe its nominal value (CAD 50 legal tender) will rise against the USD, and its gold content worth will rise against USD. A win-win wager.

Chugs, J
