"Matt 24: 29- 31 state Jesus’ return. In Verse 29 He says “But immediately after the tribulation of those days”

What tribulation is He referring to?"

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Mat 24:34

The book of Revelation was written by John prior to the destruction of Jerusalem and this is what Revelation points to. As you know there are many verses that prophesies to the immanency of Christ's Second Coming but you claim that I am taking these verses out of context. Either something is- or it is not. For instance, Jesus tells his desciples that some of them will still be living to see his return. Another verse says they will not travel through all of the cities of Israel before his return. Another tells us that when Jerusalem is surrounded by soldiers all prophesy will have been fulfilled. There is too much proof that Christ returned in judgement against the Jews in 70 AD to narrow mindedly deny that this is what happened and that we are to wait for this "sweet bye and bye pie in the sky" to be fulfilled when it is obvious that God has already reclaimed the earth from Satan.

As to your story about Revelation look at Revelation chapter 11 verse 2.

1 "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."
Rev. 11:2

Forty and two months- the 3 and 1/2 year final act of the Tribulation period!

Why would God tell John to measure the temple if it had been destroyed? It is quite evident that John wrote Revelation before it's destruction as attested to by the preceding verse. Therefore Revelation was a warning to the Jews about factual things that was to happen during their lifetime. You can quote all the stories that you want and it still will not stand up to the truth as factually stated in God's Word.
