Spain? How so? Note: the Basque have nothing to do with Spain.

How many democracies are there in SE Asia? Much less stable ones? Ditto with Africa. As far as South America...

Name. Six. Countries. Naming several regions that don't have a track record for stable democracies, or stable anything except for strongman rule doesn't count. Six countries with a stable democracy that once were dictatorships and had a transitional period of civil unrest and/or civil war lasting on the order of a decade or more.
