Thanks for the response. I know all their current systems are motion JPEG (including Avid Cinema---I checked the Avid website). I was wondering about future products.

I'm an editor---Media Composer 8000 for PBS--- (and an investor) and I've been trying to convince the prople on the CUBE board that there is no current way of editng MPEG. They seem to think that that will change soon and that Avid has plans for an MPEG system. It seems to me that if anyone can do it, it would be Avid and that if they developed an inexpensive consumer system that it would open a large market for them (hopefully using CUBE chips). Of course resuting in a higher stock price :-).

Any ideas, thoughts, comments?
