Thoughts from one who has been "Shaken out".

First of all I sincerely hope that KRY wins. The negative response towards all juniors, if they lose, after everything else that has taken place in the junior markets during the last 6 months could be terrible indeed. A win could give us the lift that most of us have been waiting for.

I announced my purchase a few weeks ago. I sold this week at a very small profit. Had I only followed this thread on SI the odds are that I would still be a shareholder. However unfortunately (fortunately) I also followed Stockhouse. In contrast to the posters on this forum such as yourself Don, as well as Bob Walsh, Dan Paloyan and a few others that I respect, I found myself constantly reading posts from roughly 10 to 15 people, most of whom used an alias. There has been constant chatter back and forth(actually some of it quite intelligently stated) most of which was rehashing info, rumours, etc, that had the appearance of originating from KRY or those that had an interest. I admit to being swayed by comments from Bob Bishop and Peter Grandich and the stong buyer interest over a couple of weeks.

As much as I was bullish, I found myself on an emotional merry-go-round and was feeling that what I originally thought of as my investment or at least good odds was becoming more and more of a gamble and roll of the dice. I finally let the market sentiment dictate my exit. I am the first to admit that I have been shaken out prematurely in the past and I am sure will be again. I have also been known to hold too long. I sincerely hope that I have screwed up again but I was just not prepared to take the chance.

Some of the concerns that come to mind:

1) Roy Carson's inside track - why does he have the exclusive??
2) No real name behind the positive spin doctors on SH (even after prompting)
3) PDG's plain language explanation to the events(inspite of their July BS) and the lack of same from KRY. Why has KRY depended on Carson and rumours to get the facts out?
4) Increasing hype as the stock is rising, decreasing or none when it is declining. Where was Roy early in the week?
5) Reaching previous highs on volume but an inability to break through.
6) High volume with no appreciation.
7) Roy Carson stating that he was enjoying the "pillow fight" but had to go to the airport and a couple of hours later stating that he would no longer post to SH because of the attacks that were initiated by himself. (This was after my exit). I ask myself if I was as positive as he appears to be could I not take a little flack and come back later and say "I told you so???

Back to Peter Grandich - love him or hate him - he was obviously in at $2 or $3 and has announced that he was shaken out - to a point. Unless I miss my guess, and this is no slam towards him, he is now sitting with free shares. How many others have the same luxury? If my shares were free I would be holding until Bre-x proved the 200 million ounces.

I am not trying to shake others out, only to add some balance to the story, and once again I hope I am wrong. It would be nice to be wrong and not lose money. That would surely be a change from the past six months! I wish everyone who is holding nothing but the best of luck. Those that have more fortitude than I sure deserve payment for their convictions.

Those that wish to flame me for stating my thoughts are welcome but response is not guarranteed.

Best of luck,
Dan
