I'd joking say "show a little compassion, what's one more on the welfare roles, if it means a little proactive intervention gets this rich guy needed help," except for one thing: The message that alcohol kills long ago walked up to Senator Kennedy, punched him in the face with brass knuckles, and said a tortuous hello.

We know he doesn't hear and calculate facts well, so surely intervening here is a poor bet.
