The real debate should be where we go from here. Demonizing folks who supported the war produces nothing, nor does purely staying the course. As someone who supported the war, I need to determine whether the policy was flawed or just its implementation was flawed. That determination for me could take years but in the meantime staying the course might be a good sound bite but it strikes me as playing a game of touch football in quicksand. Dont ask where i pulled that one from.
