I kept expecting correction in the recent rise in the price of gold, and before that in the crude oil price.

The upward trends continued MUCH longer than it thought.

I believe hedge funds are a major factor, they will keep things moving along for much longer than other market forces - the trend is their friend, and they will stay with it.

If I were getting 20% of the upside of other people's money, I would too.
