Read today that fewer officers were reenlisting. You fight war on the cheap and the odds go down for survival. Professional soldiers will fight and fight well, but not without adequate R&R and limitations no how many tours of duty and their duration. Rummy read Catch 22 and has implemented it. Remember they kept raising the number of missions Yossarian had to fly before he was discharged. Its not 1984 as some leftists charge--its Catch 22 and its just as bad for our soldiers and for the safety and security of our country going forward.
