No way Bush-Cheney are going to be in office within 12 months. You're dreaming. The only way they stay in office is if democrats decide to let them stay in order to run against the crooked and inept lame duck in 2008. But I can't imagine the new congress letting Cheney-Bush remain in power more than 3-6 months. The people want them out, remember, and the new congress will be a reflection of the peoples' will.

Also remember, Bush-Cheney are now the least popular team since Nixon-Agnew when they were on their way out the door. All that support and goodwill has been squandered, wasted and spent. They are now little more than public menaces, proven scoundrels and potential felony cases.

The GOP would be really smart to replace Bush-Cheney ASAP with more honest and functional leaders.
