Jaz spins faster than Zip That's why spinup/spindown takes longer for Jaz than for Zip. It seems to me the process takes about 5-8 seconds. Do I understand you correctly that you find a 5-8 second spinup after not having accessed your Jaz for 1 hour to be a problem?
